Organs Studios going back to our roots...

Members of Organs and its unofficial sister studio, Junk Drawer, are no strangers to a battle of the bands. During their time as undergraduates, many members would collaborate seriously for the first time on another battle of the bands.

Short sets, fast bands and heavy sounds, Lucked Out played into our roots and deep love and respect for the Boston DIY music scene. Through sales of tickets, we were able to pay all the performers, on top of a $500 cash prize for the winner. Our event was followed by Dj sets by friends of the studio, Stamina, turning the night into a love letter to Boston music, exposing new audiences to new sounds.
